About Me

Welcome to my website! My name is Max, and I'm a creative individual who has been on a journey of exploration and artistic expression for my entire life. From a young age, I have found inspiration and solace in the arts, which shaped my life in profound ways.

At the age of three, I embarked on a musical journey, teaching myself piano and diving into the world of classical composition. The allure of storytelling and visual expression captivated me early on, as I immersed myself in the magic of Tim Burton's masterpieces and studied VFX techniques used in films like The Corpse Bride (2005) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005).

As I continued to age, my interest and need for creative outlets expanded. I taught myself stop-motion animation, which was inspired by Monster High, in 2010, and delved into free animation softwares like MikuMikuDance and Blender. Additionally, I began my literary journey by writing and publishing my first fantasy novel at the age of thirteen, with two more published works following in subsequent years.

During high school, I engaged in various creative endeavors, serving as the school photographer, the president of the school's chess club, and a co-founder of the filmmaking club, which brought more artistic opportunities to the youth in the rural small town I grew up in.

In 2019, I took a significant step in my artistic evolution by enrolling at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to pursue Visual Effects and Technical Animation. The scholarships I received underscored my dedication and potential in the field.

Embracing an entrepreneurial spirit, I founded my own production company in 2016, allowing me to channel my creativity into meaningful projects and cultivate a thriving artistic community.

Though faced with challenges, including a neurological condition that redirected my career path, I remain steadfast in my pursuit of artistic excellence and innovation as a VFX artist.

I am currently interning at the Walt Disney Co., where I am learning and networking alongside industry professionals and acquaintances. I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my parents and the guiding light of my faith.

As I continue to carve out my place in the visual arts world, I am fueled by a deep sense of purpose and gratitude for the opportunities that await me.
